i’ll be vulnerable first.

MOTHER.WIFE.FRIEND

While photography means the world to me, so do my family and friends. I have been lucky enough to have been able to witness so many love stories that I otherwise would not have been privileged enough to encounter if not for my career.

A big reason I feel that my photos come across the way they do is because I truly feel that my clients are so much more than just clients.

I am someone you can lean on. Someone you can laugh with and someone you can most importantly, be yourself with.

I’m so glad you’re here

There’s a lot of uncertainty in the world today and I think its more important than ever to remember the reasons we keep striving to be better. Love is such a huge part of our lives—hell, to be honest I feel like love is the emotion we run after constantly, the emotion that makes us human. Booking a session with me means you’re ready to capture not only the best of you but the most human in you. Booking with me means you don’t want a normal session. Booking with me means you want to be comfortable in your own skin and to feel free in front of the camera. I’m not here to make you feel awkward or uncomfortable . I’m here to hype you up, to have fun and to capture your amazing story.

My name, Loretta, is a handmedown from my grandmother (my lola). I love Jesus, books, music, travel and my family. I’m lucky to have been blessed with an amazing man in my life who supports my crazy ideas and is truly the foundation of my life. I just gave birth to my beautiful daughter in May of 2023 and our house has never been more charmed. My husband and I love to take road trips, find new restaurants and play with our animals. We have 3 cats and a sweet german shepard—its a full house! I LOVE love. I love that it brings out sides of you that you never knew where there otherwise.

Not to get all sappy but a huge part of my story starts on my 27th birthday (2019). I’m embarrassed to admit but I was having one of those crazy existential crisis’s. I was one year closer to 30 and my life looked NOTHING like I always imagined it would. I was working a job I hated and my life felt really stale. I got a call from my dad that day and like most parents, he could tell I was upset. That night my dad gave me some amazing advice and some words I will never forget— telling me to go after my dreams and to remember to never be afraid of failure. Less than a month after having that conversation with my dad, he passed away.

There’s a lot that comes with losing someone you love but one thing that happens is tremendous foresight and evaluation. Now, I choose to live a life that is creative and kind.

Delivering pictures to others allows me to do that. I always wished I had more photos of my dad, like nice photos—not just iphone photos.

The bottom line is that were not here forever, so lets make it count.
